All right, thanks, Tommy. I'm making some changes right now. Perspective isn't one of my strong points so the left hand is kinda tough, but I think I've got it to something I like. As for the legs, I'd rather not try to fix them too much; I've already erased and redrawn a lot, the paper is getting messy, and this eraser I just bought isn't very good, so I'm burning through pencil erasers.
Right now I'm pretty happy with what I have, but it's gotten to be a bit too messy to color physically, so I'm gonna try to do it digitally. I'll wait for more feedback to see if there are any more small fixes I could make and update later.
Also, if anyone has tips on how to make fabric look like its blowing in a breeze, I could use them.

Great your in Ravenhawk. You've set good priorities
Worked some more on mine.
Dont know wether I want flames to come out the eyes/mouth or not. Might be overdoing it a bit then. The eyes of the pumpkin are in no way finished btw
CnC away!

Coming along super nice, Tommy!
I think flames would be a bit too much, I like this glowing feeling it has now.

I might write a short halloween story Arghore, here is how it might start...
The pumpkin leered at his stern gaze.
He had been trying his best to make the vegetable avert its burning stare, but this was proving to be somewhat difficult.
Pumpkins were always very stubborn.
SMUSH!
The grimy metal gauntlet that was moments before resting on his beloved invisible pony's mane now dripped pumpkin innards.
"My lord! That is the third pumpkin in the past hour!"

@ Usk Delt. I like the idea of the pumpkin as the target. Looks like it has been freshly tossed and the scythe is about to come around and do its duty. It fills my head with a background of the very contrasty dusty red outcroppings with a dark and moody sky and swirling vapors, ground littered in pumpkin parts.
I think I need more sleep and this gnawing headache (Day 4) to go away. Made some minor progress with costume last night but not enough worth photoing yet.

right then, a friday night well spend, as i finished my progress site:
http://www.dnai.nl/GW/workshop.htm
So, now it's time for my doodles over the weekend
Gratz to 'Mr' Remington, for winning over 50k+ in cash and items, for giving the right answer to the question "Who started this thread, and where on gwguru is it located?" as part of Judge Ra's show on gw-en.com
@Tzu, saw you added my prize, maybe want to add that people can pm me to learn more about how to become a judge in this catagory
@Usk, like that pose ... one thing though, shouldn't the scythe face the other way, like the sharp pointy bit ...

Was considering including some critiques with this post but it's kinda late and I might not make sense. I'll do it sometime tomorrow but I got an insta comment for Tommy:
That pumpkin is looking great! And I agree with Minami, it looks good as it is.
And uploaded my rough sketch. I don't have a reference picture so anatomy might be off..I'll prolly have to take a pic of myself doing the same pose..also considering changing her left hand..looks like she's tickling something >_> (lol I just Critiqued myself..)
I downloaded the paint tool SAI trial and used it for this..but it may be a bad idea to use it for this entry because it's the first time I ever used SAI. We'll see!

This is just like the 2/5 part of the full draw.. so I need something good to fill it

I like the pose, but you should have the Jack-o-Lantern in the Dervishes hand and flame remnants swirl around the Dervish that came from the Jack-o-Lanterns face. Next add a graveyard in the background decorated with various Guild Wars Halloween items. Lastly, have a full moon in the background but have the scythe's blade curve around the side of the moon.
Dhuums Soul Reaper or Raven Scythe can do that nicely.

So I've been playing around with Audicity in hoping to remix some Guild Wars music to a Halloween theme. Well, I failed at the theme. Tell me what you think!

Also THIS IS NOT A WORK IN PROGRESS, my main entry will be a story.

Updated OP with new participants. BladeWind joined the panel of judges (by the way, I haven't replied to your PM because it appears your inbox is full!)!
I made "Birthday Cupcakes" yesterday, minus the candle... Q_Q
If anyone wants to make them for Halloween/whatever, here's how:
Birthday Cupcakes
@ Usk Delt: you're making good progress already, I like how you immediately took the critique to heart and worked with it! It looks much better already, although I think it still lacks some force. I never swung a scythe in my life, nor do I play D/, but I think how he's holding it in his hand looks wrong, it makes the scythe look very light-weight and less lethal. I don't exactly know what a swing of a scythe would look like, but these appear to be good indications: start swing and end swing. Hopefully you can use that.
@ Zodiac Meteor: imo I think the song lacks any particular highlight as it is, and the melody is somewhat hard to follow at times. With the slow but heavy feeling it seems to have, I would add some serious bass to it. X3
I haven't made any progress myself, I hope to do so today though.

I should be back to working on my Halloween entry pic sometime next week, hopefully.
Doing the last finishes for my other picture, which I've been working on for over a week now, about 7-8 hours every day... I have to submit today (deadline is on the 13th, but I don't wanna submit during the final rush), so I'm working on it full power
I'll of course still keep an eye on this thread, and give C&C. But don't expect anything serious or substantial from me until next week. ^_^

@Zodiac, I liked the slowed down theme music, it had a beginning of authum feel to it, then i liked the bit with Eir with the high pitched tones, that realy put me off ease ... what i missed though, were allot of 'ambient' sounds, howling winds and wolves, footsteps, evil laughter, screaming, church bells (12 strokes) ... all sorts of things that make it more halloween themed ... it could also use some 'tempo' changes, to create more 'urgent/pressing' moments within the whole composition; not sure if its the right english word for it, but 'swelling' (tempo and volume) can make certain parts stand out more ... so, a good 'base' but it needs more 'halloween'

I'm feeling like my pic is becoming more and more Guild Wars inspired than Guild Wars related... First of all I finished the Ritualist's left arm and her head and now her armor looks nothing like the ones in-game. Also, the spirit she encounters... I don't think it will be the traditional GW spirit. More of a blue skeleton surrounded by mist.
Pic taken with my DSLR in poor lighting circumstances, hence the funky light and colours. It sure is fun as heck to draw on black paper this time!
Ah-ha! Found the spoiler tags!

I think I've got an idea brewing in my head. Something like a large group of Kournan children facing the viewer with a stoic look on their faces. Then King Thorn is standing behind them in mid-laugh.
Thinking of positioning and drawing the kids in a way that references that famous scene from "The Shining". You know:
"Come play with us. Forever and ever AND EVER."
Edit: The Hitcher in my avatar is obviously excited about this message.
